This wee guy is named Ernest, I finished him last night while watching television . It is Not a good thing to felt and watch TV too many distractions result in lots of needle holes in fingers :(

Daisy Bear

This is Daisy , She was a challenge for Thread Artist Guild I belong to . I made Daisy . She really is a little bear . Notice her eyelidsand eyes look like little lady birds/bugs . She is in the company of some of her little friends from nature . She was a great deal of fun to make
I think My next creation will be a needle felted one , Although I have not decided what to make yet . I bet I will decide by tonight lol

May my latest crochet project




April showers bring May flowers

This is May , I just finishered her last night . She loves her flower 'umbrella' and hat . she is all dressed up in her Sunday best . Her dress and 'shoes ' are decorated with seed beads. She is just 2 1/2inches sitting , She is jointed and has onyx eyes .

Malachy the felted mouse

I created this little mouse last week , His name is
Malachy , He is needle felted using a barbed needle and wool roving. Malach's feet and nose were hand molded by me , using Polymer . I also used polymer to make the plate , The cake is needle felted . This little one was made without use of a pattern , I usually visualize and design as I go along

Reilley the Cat


This is the cat Reilley who owns me , She was given to me by my daughter after another beloved kitty died. Bernie and I call her our first Grandchild

I was born and raised in Dublin Ireland , I now live in Delaware in the United States. I have been married to my husband and best friend Bernie since 1971. We have two adult children and are owned by a cat named Reilley.
I have always loved crafting . I used to embroider a lot , I also enjoy knitting , crocheting and needle felting. After discovering the art of crocheting miniature collectibles and needle felting I became hooked , They are now my passion. I sell some of them on Etsy and E Bay. Another of my hobbies is flower gardening , I love to read particularly books of Irish Interest.I also like Music of all kinds but tend to own mostly Irish and spiritual CD'S I hope to show and talk about my hobbies on this blog .
